HOSPIMedica
ASIA Southeast Asia's premier medical care exhibition was opened on 17
September 2008 by Mr S Iswaran, Singapore's Senior Minister of State
for Trade and Industry. HOSPIMedica ASIA 2008 embraced the strong
support from 370 leading international and regional exhibiting
companies from 32 countries including the 11 national and group
pavilions from Australia, Austria, China, France, Germany, India,
Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
The exhibition was held concurrently with OS+H Asia 2008 and the 19th
Asian Conference on Occupational Health organized by the Occupational
and Environmental Health Society, Singapore.
HOSPIMedica
ASIA 2008 recorded a 10 percent growth in the number of visitors, the
highest ever achieved and this signifies the growing need for an event
dedicated specifically to the medical and health care sectors. The
exhibition played host to 6,011 trade visitors from 50 countries and
economies who turned out in force to source for new products, discover
the latest trends and developments, and to seek for distribution
opportunities. Visitors were treated to a comprehensive range of
equipment and supplies and a wealth of new innovations, initiatives and
services. About 35 percent of the visitors came from outside
Singapore. Southeast Asia (excluding Singapore) accounted for the
majority of the overseas visitors with strong representation from
Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Read more >>

Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry to open HOSPIMedica ASIA
With
less than a month to go until the seventh presentation of HOSPIMedica
ASIA, the region's most established medical event, interest from the
region’s health care industry continues to grow with visitor
pre-registration figures looking promising, especially from those
coming from across the Southeast Asian countries. At press time, the
number of exhibiting companies stands at 350 from some 30 countries
including national and group participation from Australia, Austria,
China, France, Germany, India, Italy, South Korea, Spain, Singapore,
Taiwan and the United Kingdom.
HOSPIMedica
ASIA will hold a joint opening ceremony with two related events, namely
OS+H Asia, The 6th Occupational Safety+Health Exhibition for Asia and
the 19th Asian Conference on Occupational Health. Mr S Iswaran, Senior
Minister of State for Trade and Industry will grace this occasion on 17

Leading Medical and Healthcare Showcase Returns to Singapore
Southeast
Asia's benchmark healthcare event, HOSPIMedica ASIA, will once again
take centrestage in Singapore. Organized biennially by Messe
Duesseldorf Asia, HOSPIMedica ASIA 2008 will be held at Suntec
Singapore from 17 to 19 September 2008. HOSPIMedica ASIA has proven to
be a global supplier base for the region's medical and health care
sectors. It has been successful over the years due to the quality of
the trade visitors as well as the presentation of cutting-edge products
and solutions.
In
2006, HOSPIMedica ASIA embraced the strong support from 367 leading
international and regional exhibiting companies from 32 countries
including the 13 national pavilions from Australia, Austria, Belgium,
China, France, Germany, India, Korea, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain,
Taiwan and the United Kingdom. The exhibition attracted 5,366 visitors
and professionals from 58 countries. Both exhibitor and visitor
