mechanism whereby the activities of member societies can be coordinated
to promote professional interests, achieve fraternity and to advance
common ideals of the medical and health professions of Hong Kong.

Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong holds that the common
interests of the medical and health professions as well as the
individual interests of each member society are of paramount importance,
and will strive to promote and defend them to the best of its abilities
and resources.

SHENZHEN ASSOCIATION OF MEDICAL DEVICES
Shenzhen is the center of research and development with the production
of integrated high-tech medical equipment products as one of its
strengths. The main products manufactured in this region include
monitoring equipment, ultrasound, MRI and other medical imaging
equipment, and gamma knife, X knife stereotactic irradiation equipment
and other massive tumor hyperthermia equipment, a direct reflection of
modern medical equipment using the latest technology. The association,
with over 250 members, is actively involved in participating at
international medical trade fairs with the objective of promoting its
members activities as well as to establish international co-operation
and collaboration with overseas partners in both the Asian, European and
American markets.

VIETNAM MEDICAL EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATION
Vietnam Medical Equipment Association (VIMEAS), established in 2002, is a
member of Vietnam Union for Science and Technology Association - VUSTA. There are 1,085 members in VIMEAS working in
- 68 branches under the management of Office Central Association
- 2 branches belong to local medical equipment association in Da Nang City & Ho Chi Minh City
Our members are divided into the following categories: -
management and man-power training including 28 branches
- researching and manufacturing for medication equipment
including 15 branches
- trading and technical servicing for medical equipment
including 25 branches
VIMEAS works closely with and is fully supported by the Vietnam Ministry
of Health. Additionally, our Association also has been cooperating with Universities
for training manpower for Bio-Medical Engineering; working with Physical
Institute of Vietnam Scientific and Technology Institute also for
training Masters for Bio-Medical Technical Physics. VIMEAS also has corporation with Institutes, Corporations under the
management of Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry
and Commerce, Vietnam Institute for Scientific and Technology in term of
science research, transfer technology for medical equipment.

INDONESIAN HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION (PERHIMPUNAN RUMAH SAKIT SELURUH
INDONESIA)
PERSI is the only association in the hospital industry in
Indonesia. PERSI represents the interests of its member hospitals and
encourages the hospitals in Indonesia to improve and advance the quality
of service to be on par with the other hospitals in the Asia-Pacific
region. PERSI is also an advocator of strategic alliances and acts as a
single voice in discussion with the government and regulatory bodies
for the good and well being of the community.
As the backbone of
the hospitals in Indonesia, PERSI's main activities are designed to
promote the consistent high standards and use of information technology
within the industry and enhancing professionalism in hospital
management.
