Digital and Enabling technology | Equipment and applications for patient-centred solutions | Mobile medical devices | Wearables | Barrier-free living | Enabling remote healthcare

Southeast Asia’s medical and healthcare industry has been growing at a rapid rate because of the region’s ageing population and its remote population. This has opened the doors to many global and regional companies specialising in these areas - catapulting the region into a hub for community care-related services and products.

Southeast Asia’s Ageing Population

46 million people in Southeast Asia will be over the age of 65 by 2020, leading to increased demands for healthcare products and services for the silver generation.

The inaugural Community Care Pavilion is a global showcase of exhibits for geriatric care, from rehabilitative equipment, assistive devices, therapeutic instruments to mobility products using robotic technology.

Remote Healthcare

The population in the region's developing countries have restricted access to medical services. The pavilion will showcase a range of technologies that enable remote healthcare, finding new ways to secure quality healthcare services for the remote population.

This pavilion will also be a platform to feature digital technology products and services that serve the growing needs of the emerging countries within the Southeast Asian market where access to healthcare remains a major challenge. The showcase will include mobile health, telemedicine and other tech related services.
