Q: What is the MEDICAL FAIR ASIA – Digital Edition?

A: The Digital Edition is the online format of the MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2020 exhibition. It facilitates sourcing of medical/healthcare products and services, new introductions and interactions between supplier and buyer, as well as participation at informative knowledge events – all at one central online platform. The online accessibility provides unlimited possibilities for international suppliers, manufacturers and distributors to conduct business intuitively anytime; anywhere and conveniently e-meeting targeted buyers and customers from Asia and beyond.

Q: What are the features of the Digital Edition?

A: The Digital Edition is an online event platform, integrated with business matching, sourcing, networking and information-sharing features, made possible by JUBLIA with enhanced extensions that further strengthen the capabilities of their earlier business matching system.

The online platform will include the following features:
  • Smart AI-enabled business matching, connecting you to the most relevant audience
  • Exhibitor Showroom (product showcase including video and images)
  • Online Conference and Presentations (live webinars and/or on-demand viewing of recordings)
  • Instant Communication (messaging, text chats and one-on-one video call, file sharing)
  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Multi-language capability

Q: When will the Digital Edition be held?

A: The Digital Edition will be available online from 9 – 18 December 2020, for 24 hours daily. The platform will close at 2359hr on Friday, 18 December 2020.

Q: Why is MEDICAL FAIR ASIA going digital?

A: As of 30 Sep 2020, large-scale physical events are still not permitted to take place in Singapore. Ongoing travel and quarantine restrictions, both in and outside of Singapore, are still in effect. In view of the dynamic situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Messe Düsseldorf Asia has taken the decision to convert this year’s MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2020 into a fully digital experience and keeping to the exhibition’s brand promise as an international sourcing and networking platform.

Q: What is the participation cost of the Digital Edition?

A: S$1,200 per company for an account on the Digital Edition. Additional accounts from the same company can be provided at S$200 each. Goods and Services Tax will apply for Singapore companies. Please click here for more details.

Q: I am registered with a stand at the physical exhibition. What do I do now?

A: We thank you for your participation and have automatically brought over your participation to the Digital Edition; no further action is required from you. Please reach out to your sales contact for further assistance.

Q: I have not used this system before; do I require special technical knowledge or training?

A: The Digital Edition is an enhanced version of the JUBLIA Business Matching platform that we have been using successfully since 2014 for onsite appointment scheduling at previous editions of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND. Exhibitors who have exhibited with us before will be familiar with this platform and for new exhibitors - the features are generally user-friendly, intuitive and easy-to-use. No special technical knowledge is required. There is also a FAQ-Help feature available in the platform upon login that can help guide you through it.

Q: How do I use the system and optimise its features?

A: Each participating company will be given a unique log-in to access all features within the platform. The features are generally user-friendly, intuitive and easy-to-use. There is also a FAQ-Help feature available in the platform upon login that will help you to navigate the different features. Exhibitors are encouraged to provide as many materials as possible at the Exhibitor Showroom, deliver a presentation at the Business Stage and be active in sending or accepting meeting requests from visitors. Q: Do I need to pay to attend the Digital Edition?

A: No. It is free to attend; you just have to register here.

Q: I have registered online earlier, do I need to register again for the Digital Edition?

A: No, you do not need to register again. Your registration remains valid for the Digital Edition.

Q: When will I receive the login to the Digital Edition?

A: Your unique login details will be emailed to you 1 week before the event.

Q: I have not used this system before; do I require special technical knowledge or training?

Q: How do I use the system and benefit from its features?

A: After registering, you will receive a registration acknowledgment followed by a confirmation email with log-in details to access all features within the platform. Visitors are encouraged to check their matches and initiate or respond proactively to request for chats, video meetings, presentations by exhibitors. Don’t forget to participate in the various activities and concurrent events lined-up, from the technical presentations, conferences, and seminars.
