The 14th edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and 5th edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA this year saw a return to the physical, large-scale format after the digital-only edition in 2020. Held in Singapore, the physical components of the two co-located trade exhibitions for the medical, healthcare and MedTech sectors were a resounding success. Visitors and exhibitors were also able to engage with each other through its AI-powered business-matching system for up to seven days after the physical events had concluded, and by closing time on 9 September, 36,400 online engagements were registered on the digital platform.
The 14th edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and 5th edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA, the region’s leading specialist trade fairs for the medical, healthcare, and medical technology (MedTech) sectors return to Marina Bay Sands tomorrow, from 31 August to 2 September. These will be the first physical, large- scale, medical and healthcare exhibitions to be staged in Singapore since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the country eases restrictions on travel and indoor events.
The 14th edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA will see its return to Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, from 31 August – 2 September 2022, with a 3-day physical trade fair, followed by a week-long digital extension.
MEDICAL FAIR ASIA, the region’s leading medical and healthcare exhibition concluded last week after 10 days of online sourcing opportunities, insightful conference sessions and presentations. Some 8,500 trade visitors from 92 countries and regions across the healthcare spectrum from medical professionals, general practitioners, healthcare establishments to medical technology companies, participated in the first digital edition of the exhibition. International online visitors to the event made up 80 percent of participants, with top countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Japan and Australia.
The countdown has started as the first digital edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA, the region’s leading exhibition dedicated to the medical and healthcare sector, prepares to open its digital platform next week on 9 December. The 10-day online exhibition will offer visitors a user-friendly sourcing platform featuring 320 exhibitors and an extensive range of some 3,000 products, from pandemic management solutions, diagnostic equipment, and smart care sensors to robotic rehabilitative devices.
Medical Festival Asia, a 10-day online event for the medical and healthcare sector will take place from the 9 to 18 December 2020. The Festival will include four pillar components, a trade marketplace with an online exhibition – MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2020 Digital Edition, thought-leadership conferences, an awards ceremony recognising the best healthcare companies, and knowledge-sharing seminars and technical presentations.

The two synergistic trade exhibitions for the medical, healthcare and MedTech sectors, MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018 closed to resounding success on 31st August. With its largest edition to date, more than 14,000 trade visitors from 72 countries visited the fairgrounds of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA this year — a 16 per cent increase from 2016. MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018 registered some 6,000 visitors from 56 countries – making it a 12 per cent increase from the previous edition.
