Incorporated since November 2018, Persatuan Perkilangan Peranti Perubatan (PERANTIM) – or also known as Malaysia Medical Devices Manufacturers Association (MMDMA), is an association with an eager purpose of developing and grooming the Malaysia Medical Devices Industry alongside leveraging the country export and international trade performance.
Malaysia’s current exports has escalated to 50-60% of the world demand, while ably complying to USFDA/CE Mark requirements. To sustain Malaysia’s strong market presence worldwide, all 24 members of PERANTIM work hand in hand with the key industry players and government agencies, such as Ministry of Health, Ministry of International Trade & Industry, Ministry of Entrepreneurial Department, Standards Malaysia, Medical Device Authority Malaysia, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation and Malaysia Industrial Development.
Towards achieving the vision of lightning growth in the global medical device markets, PERANTIM actively participate and endorse in most of the international medical shows and relevant exhibitions to proudly promote the quality and affordability of medical devices and products from the local manufacturers.

Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT)
The Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT) was founded in 1975 and serves as the national professional representation for occupational therapists and occupational therapy students in Singapore. As a dedicated professional organization, SAOT is committed to advancing the practice of occupational therapy through continuous education, professional development, and advocacy.
Our mission is to support occupational therapists in their professional growth and to promote high standards of care. By enhancing the well-being of individuals and helping them achieve independence in their daily activities, SAOT aims to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Additionally, the association fosters collaboration among therapists, facilitates research, and engages with stakeholders to shape policies that impact the profession.
SAOT actively represents the field on both national and international platforms, including the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT), the Asia Pacific Occupational Therapy Regional Group, and the East Asian Exchange Meeting, ensuring that Singapore’s voice is heard and contributing to the global discourse on occupational therapy practices and standards.
